I joined the team at Eastern Sports and Spinal after graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2016. Throughout my studies I worked as a sports trainer for West Adelaide Football Club and as a hydrotherapy aide. Upon graduating I was employed as the physiotherapist at West Adelaide working with their U16 and U18 SANFL teams for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. I continue to have an interest in water therapy and have been working as a hydrotherapist since 2017. I have also been working with the Activ8 Aerobics Club for the past 5 years.
I am committed to improving my knowledge and skills as a sport and musculoskeletal physiotherapist as evidenced by my participation in a number of courses including sporting hip and groin injuries, matwork Pilates, dry needling and 3D assessment of the cervical and thoracic spine. I have recently been accepted into the Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with La Trobe University and intend to complete this course part time over the coming years.
My particular professional passion lies in rehabilitation where I gain much satisfaction in assisting my patients to return to the activities they enjoy. Injuries such as hip and groin injuries, tendinopathy rehabilitation and sacro-iliac joint pain and sporting shoulder injuries are my areas of greatest interest.
In my spare time I love to keep active participating in sport aerobics, running and group fitness classes.
