Low Impact Exercise is designed for clients with a low exercise tolerance. This may be due to recovery following illness or due to deconditioning following a chronic pain condition.
This is initially run as a 1 on 1 consult, tailoring the exercise to your specific needs. Progression is then made to classes using a wide variety of exercises and may include free weights, bike, treadmill, pilates equipment and balance work, all depending on each client’s specific requirements.
The physiotherapist taking this class encourages each individual to exercise at their own pace and address their own individual needs while socialising with others.
Close supervision ensures good techniques and gradual progression.
